Hydrological Modeling

We develop methods at the forefront of research and translate them into operational systems: from process-based hydrological models, cryosphere modules and data-driven forecasting approaches to coupled groundwater models. Our work spans future streamflow projections, agro-hydrological modelling, irrigation water availability and demand assessments, and the use of big data analytics and deep learning for data-scarce and complex environments. Across all projects, we tailor our models to the specific conditions of the study area and prioritise open-source frameworks wherever possible.
