Sustainability is part of hydrosolutions DNA since its beginnings, and now, our capacity to integrate climate change aspects into our projects and operations has been significantly bolstered: Beatrice Marti has recently completed the Climate Innovation CAS program newly offered by ETH Zurich. The course included technical components like climate risk assessment using CLIMADA and climate finance as well as problem solving and innovation techniques like the design thinking process among many other topics. The CAS project work focused on the challenges of Swiss SME to tackle the climate challenge: desk research that can now be used to develop the sustainability strategy for hydrosolutions. Last but not least, the invaluable connections forged at ETH Zurich and other Swiss institutions not only enhance our network but also inspire and shape the trajectory of our forthcoming projects.
